CHANGE_NORMAL_HOST_CHECK_INTERVAL

Command Format:
CHANGE_NORMAL_HOST_CHECK_INTERVAL;<host_name>;<check_interval>
Description:

Changes the normal (regularly scheduled) check interval for a particular host.

Shell Script Usage Example:
#!/bin/sh
# This is a sample shell script showing how you can submit the CHANGE_NORMAL_HOST_CHECK_INTERVAL command
# to Nagios. Adjust variables to fit your environment as necessary.

now=`date +%s`
commandfile='/usr/local/nagios/var/rw/nagios.cmd'

/bin/printf "[%lu] CHANGE_NORMAL_HOST_CHECK_INTERVAL;host1;15\n" $now > $commandfile
